You may observe a difference between the HCS MSG SEQ (Data Layer) and the ASSET SERIAL (Financial Layer).

HCS MSG SEQ: Counts every raw data packet, system pulse, and heartbeat recorded on the Hedera Consensus Service. This is the "Data Stream".

ASSET SERIAL: Counts only the finalized financial assets (Tokens) minted when thresholds (e.g., 10,000 kWh) are met.
The HCS Sequence will always be higher than the Asset Serial. This proves that raw data is being filtered and verified before financial issuance.
